1st Sunset in Napili Bay

This sunset is taken from our Lanai on our 1st evening in Napili..

Today after our long walk, we enjoyed breakfast at the "Sea House" then we grabbed our snorkels, masks and flippers and walked right into the ocean in front of our condo. We held hands and snokel'd for about an hour and a half.

After cleaning up we went into Lahaina to browse the shops and have cocktail hour at "Kimos" then back for a very beautiful sunset....

I'm still on So Cal time so I'm tired by 8pm here..

1st morning in Napili...

Steve spotted these beautiful snails...I think they're holding hands...."NOT"

Along the trail
Steve and I got up early and took off on a power walk... this Kapalua Coastal trail is so incredibly beautiful. From our condo the hike took us about 5 miles round trip.. Napili is just south of Kapalua.

"Napili" Home for 10 days

Steve & I checked into Napili Shores on Saturday August 29th

A Spectacular dinner @ "Spago"

Spago restaurant @ The Four Seasons has to be on the top of our list of best dinners of all time!! we watched a perfect sunset over the Molokai horizon and sipped on wonderful red wines..it was about a 3hr dinner, "Spectacular"!!! \This view just sucks, doesn"t it?"

Day #1 The Four Seasons Resort

This is day 1...Our view from Breakfast..Me and Steve * a timer shot

"Duo" this resturant was so good we ate breakfast there both mornings. I indulged in wonderful berries and of course a morning mamosa.. Steve took a picture for a couple that was at the table next to us and it happened to be OJ Mayo, a basketball player for USC and the Memphis Grizzlies...

Maui, Hawaii 2009

August 27th Steve and I took off on a 5:pm flight out of LAX on Delta Airlines, we were headed for the island of Maui. We used our miles and traveled in 1st class.... now this is definitely the best way to go, as many cocktails as you want, and wow what a (better than coach) dinner.. we had brasied short ribs, really delicious.. We arrived on the island of paradise and traveled to "The Four Seasons" resort in Wailea. I got leied as soon as we arrived.... Oh, that's the flowers by the way, by the hotel staff..I think Steve and I would agree this is one of the best resorts we have ever been to.

Happy Anniversary Aug 1976 - 2009

Steve and I go to "Humphrey's on the Bay" at least once a year.. usually around my birthday and our anniversary since they're just a week apart.

This year was special.. we were celebrating our 33rd Wedding Anniversary..

We took off Thursday mid afternoon in the "Aston Martin" (Steve's new toy) and drove (top down) to San Diego. We laid by the pool sipping on cocktails basking in the August sunshine and just chilled before we went and cleaned up for dinner and our concert.

Humphrey's offers great concert packages.. we stay in a very large suite, enjoy a wonderful dinner and get front row seats to the concert.. This is how close we are.. 15ft from Jackson and it is the only way to see a concert!!!

Thank you honey I thoroughly enjoyed myself..

**Jackson Browne** Anniversary Night

View from our room at Humphrey's on the Bay... Shelter Island... San Diego..

Dinner @ Humphrey's just before the "Jackson Browne" concert

We dined on Steak, Fish, grilled veggies and a wonderful bottle of "Elyse" Zinfandel from Napa. And to top it off...fresh berries and cream for dessert. Awesome!!!!

Does anyone see a difference!!!!

Las Vegas *** Happy Birthday to Me

Steve took me to Las Vegas for my Birthday.. I had such a wonderful time. Two days and nights filled with (whatever we wanted). We relaxed by the beautiful garden pools at "The Venetian" sipping on cocktails while strolling down memory lane. We had fabulous dinners, and to top it off Steve took me to see "Phantom". Vegas always goes "OVER THE TOP" with all their shows and this was no exception. The stage settings, costumes, and OH my Gosh!! the talent or "Cast" as some would say was SPECTACULAR!! Never before have I ever heard Soprano sung from the 4th row center of a theater.. WOW! It gave me chills.
Thank You honey for a totally Wonderful Birthday.... I love you!!
