Metro Pt. in the OC 12/20/08

Steve and I have a childhood friend "Stevie Donn Rodriguez" who has been singing professionally since right out of high school. His band now called "Heart and Soul" play all over So. California. Steve and I went down to "Metro Pt." in the south coast plaza area and listened to him sing and play with his son "Dennis"who is on the Sax and on keyboard Jimmy Seville. It was a gorgeous winter night, cold and crisp. We sat drinking "Irish Coffee" and talked with old and some young (KiKi) friends. It was a really fun evening.. Steve sang Christmas songs as well as several new songs he's been working on. Hope you enjoy this one, it's one of my favorites..

Merry Christmas

Steve and I want to wish all of our friends and family a very Blessed Christmas..

It has been a Wonderful and very "Full" 2008. Steve and I were given two more beautiful grand daughters, Paige Wallace from Aaron & Sarah and Tallulah Day Ireland from Sean and Molly. Steve and I are so blessed to have all three of our boys living close by so we can watch our grandbabies blossom into beautiful little girls. I have the best time behaving like a big kid again while playing with the girls.

Pictures with Santa... Sort of..

This last week Molly, Sarah and I took my grand babies

to Cerritos Mall for a "Fun" picture with Santa. Tula was awesome, Paige was "so so" tolerant and Reagan would have nothing to do with the big Jolly old man. So, after a couple of Santa pics we sat the girls outside Santa's Studio and shot (or tried to) our own pictures of the (might I ad, the cutest girls in the world).

GG these dresses you bought the girls are soooooooo beautiful and they looked super adorable in them.

Naples Walk

Every Christmas one of the things we love to do as a family is to take a walk along the Naples Island boardwalk and check out all the magnificent homes all decorated with Holiday Lights.
Our best friends live on the water so we enjoy the beauty of Southern Cali at its finest...Summer, Winter, Spring or Fall..

Family Pictures

Before dinner we decided to take our family pictures.

Steve and the "Bird"

Steve got busy early cleaning the outside so we could enjoy the outdoors without dirt and ash from the fires that we had a couple weeks ago. Then it was time to prep the bird!!

The Ireland's Thanksgiving

It was such a pleasure cooking in my new remodeled kitchen this year!! Our home was done early this year but this was our 1st Thanksgiving Feast. It was a Gorgeous Sunny California Day, we even ate outside. Everyone participated in the cooking. This year I made a Delicious Prime Rib and Steve made his traditional BBQ Turkey! Yum!!! Sean and Molly showed up early to help with the casseroles and I sipped wine and held the newest of our clan, little "T" (Tallulah).

GG was here for a visit

This past week "GG" (great-grandma) was with us, she arrived on Thursday the 30th and left the following Thursday. The whole Ireland family has been so sick with an upper GI virus, Reagan and Marcus started us off and it just funneled through our family like a tornado. Some had cough and sinus, others had four day fevers attached to Bronchitis or pneumonia. There is still a lot of coughing and headaches but I think were on the road to recovery. It's one thing when my big boys get sick but when the little ones (Reagan, Paige & Tallulah) are feeling bad it breaks my heart. Halloween was a fun night, GG walked the streets with us as the Girls collected candy from our neighbors.

Here are the most up to date pictures of a fun time with my mom "GG"

Bob & Teri Ireland came for a visit

Steve, Bob, Shirley, Rhea, Teri and Jerry.

We went out to brunch at this great Polynesian restaurant call "Kona" we had a wonderful buffet champagne brunch and watched a Polynesian dance show while we ate. It was just Jerry's 30th Birthday a couple days earlier so when they asked if anyone was having a birthday we had them take Jerry up on stage an show him how to dance Polynesian style. It was hysterical. Jerry was a great sport, and not a bad dancer either...

Happy Birthday Jerry!

Teri and Tallulah

Teri, you look 10 years younger!!!

A gentle moment between Reagan and Tallulah

Reagan loves her new little cousin Tallulah, she wants to hold her all the time. Reagan is at such a fun age (2 1/2) she has the biggest imagination and make believe world of any child I've known. These girls are always going to have fun playing together. I have a feeling Reagan will want to be in charge, ha ha ha
